Never make these mistakes
Never make these mistakes

Avoiding the mistakes of the most common blogs will give you an edge over others in the field and will ensure your success. Most of the following mistakes are caused by enthusiasm or ignorance, but can easily be avoided if you know what they are. Do not make these mistakes. Your success depends on it!

# 1: Aimless Blog

You need to know and explain your purpose for your blog to be a guide. As you visualize and develop your blog ask yourself these questions: Why am I blogging? Is my blog informative? Is it fun? A personal log or am I trying to sell something? Whom am I targeting? Am I writing a blog for personal or business purposes?

Knowing the purpose of your blog helps you create goals and plan strategies to achieve your goals. A business-focused blog should be designed to draw traffic and sell. A blog to write your goal like weight loss or cycling across the country should book your journey and not amazing events along the way.

# 2: Posting Inconsistently

Updating your blog regularly is important. Your readers are expecting new and informative content at regular intervals. If you skip posting content for a long time your readers will look elsewhere. It hurts even more when your readers don’t keep a blog post or stay on your mailing list.

You do not need to post daily. Just make sure you have original and relevant posts several times a week. If necessary, use scheduled posts provided by multiple hosting forums.

# 3: Fluff Content

Posting copied or deceptive content just to get something posted is a common mistake to avoid error number 2. A smart blogger knows the importance of providing relevant and quality content for every post. Avoid repeated entries to give your readers something to read. That's like sitting down to dinner only to find the food tasteless and dirty. You want to satisfy your readers and give them reasons for visiting your site and keep them coming back.

Quality is always more important than quantity, especially when blogging. Develop attractive and interesting articles.

# 4: Clutter Format

Are you a creative and fun writer and always post high quality content but still fail to draw great and reliable reading? You may be using a clutter format and your viewers feel that your blog is only a time consuming material.

Imagine yourself as a viewer. You know reading long entries without breaks is boring and you often lose interest. So, keep your post short and exactly the point. Use different style of bullets to efficiently represent the idea instead of a long paragraph. Try posting pictures to break your ideas. Being visual creatures, your readers will enjoy a creative and engaging presentation.

# 5: Less Interactive

Giving your readers a way to communicate with you and incorporating your readers' thoughts and ideas into your posts is great for your blog. Involvement improves communication between you and your readers. Most people follow a blog because the topic appeals to them. So, your readers have something in common and are probably interested in the thoughts and experiences of your readers, provide motivation to follow your blog. Use strategies to encourage participation such as adding thought-provoking questions to your post or urging readers to join your mailing list.

# 6: Your blog is not attractive in appearance

If your blog is hard to read, your visitors will not stay. You don't need luxurious graphics but make sure you have a good design in your design, and use colors and fonts that are easy to read.

 # 7: Writing complex, long sentences, especially when there is a hidden meaning

Keep your sentences and paragraphs short, and use easy-to-understand language for your target market.

# 8: Spelling mistakes in your article

Use a spell checker before publishing. If your articles have incorrect spelling, you will not present yourself as an expert.

 # 9: Not Focused on writing to get natural search engine traffic

It is best to use keywords to get natural traffic to search engines, but only if your article is still read to your visitors. After all, search engines buy nothing from you, but your human visitors do! Website traffic will not help you if your readers don’t like your post and don’t want to spend time on your post.

 # 10: Writing articles just for money, not because you are interested or like the topic

If you have a real interest in the topic, then your writing will come through and it will be obvious to your readers.

# 11: One-way conversations

Try to engage your viewers in the discussion. Ask them to leave a comment. Ask them what they think. Get them thinking and sharing their thoughts

# 12: Lack of Strong Niche

The blogger needs to focus. You cannot write everything for everyone. You should clearly state your intent to blog. For example, if you write about dogs, you should not waste time and energy writing on online activities.

Try and write on what you like, because by doing so you will not get enough to write about it.

# 13: Lack of Image Support

Many bloggers use images that do not support their keywords. While some do not use images at all. Pictures help visitors retrieve messages quickly.

Sometimes the right pictures can explain it. As we all know “a picture speaks a thousand words”. Using the right images can take your blog to the next level because your readers will have an easier time delivering your posts, which is why you encourage them to get more involved in your blog.

# 14: Ignoring SEO or Doing Heavy SEO

SEO helps visitors find your blog. Visitors are not finding your site by mistake. However, since SEO is important, you do not need to overuse it. You may know that you are overly prepared when your keywords in posts and articles suddenly stop making sense.

On the other hand, you also need to consider how many keywords you entered in your profile. Too much use of SEO means that you only writing for robots, and that is very contrary to blogging guidelines because it can lead to spamming.

# 15: Focusing on Design and Not the content in Blog

Having a good and attractive blog is amazing, but some bloggers are so obsessed with blogging that they forget about content. There is no basis for having a good design if a visitor leaves your site without reading your post.

No matter how great your design is, make sure your visitor can tell you what your site is about at least at a glance.
